Book Chat | Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare

Clockwork Angel is a brilliantly crafted first book to the Infernal Devices trilogy, a prequel series to the Mortal Instruments series, set in 1800s London. Complete with an amazingly fast-paced and smartly built plot, fantastically developed characters and writing that together make for an addicting and exciting read that will leave you wanting more. At least, it definitely left me wanting more.

Book Chat | Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

As the first book I’ve read by Colleen Hoover, this book has completely converted me into a CoHo fan. Not only is her writing extremely wonderful, engaging, poetic and artistic, the story was completely heart-wrenching with great characters! Ugly Love is a novel focused around love. It’s a love story. Obviously. But if you’re looking for a swoon-worthy, cute romance that gets you squealing, think again. This new adult novel explores love in it’s most ugly times, the lowest times it could possibly get. But not only this, Ugly Love is a novel that explores loss, guilt and acceptance and the idea of letting go of your past to give away to your future. And it’s done absolutely beautifully.

Book Chat | A Court of Thorns and Roses

Hello bookworms! I am literally writing this the moment after reading the last page of this AMAZING book. As you have already guessed, I am coming to you with my review on A Court of Thorns and Roses written by the one and only queen of fantasy right now, Sarah J Maas!

A Court of Thorns and Roses is a re-telling of Beauty and the Beast and in my opinion, it was done absolutely brilliantly. It’s a perfect mix of magical, suspenseful and so enticingly delicious. I couldn’t put it down and I am so glad it is a series versus a standalone. Read on to hear my thoughts . . .

Book Chat | Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Nothing is going to push it off, I’m positive. I am also positive that Rainbow Rowell is now one of my favorite authors and I am going to buy ALL of her work. All of it.
Fangirl is a coming-of-age story, complete with wonderful fan-fiction, awesome family dynamics and of course, love. If you’re expecting Fangirl to be a novel based around romance, think again bookworms because love takes a slight backseat to this story! Now, let’s jump in to why I think this book is so darn INCREDIBLE and why it met my expectations and MORE.
