Greetings bookworms and non-bookworms alike, and welcome back to my blog! Wednesday means another round of Top Five Wednesday, and this week, we are discussing the topic of top five book series’ we want to start next year.
Since starting blogging this year, I have been introduced to a world of new books and series, more than I could list in this post! But I am going to do my best to attempt to pick my top five series that I desperately need to read, and that my blogger friends are screaming at me to read.
Let’s go!
1. The Raven Cycle series
Cait @ Paper Fury is the reason for my frantically needing to read this series immediately. That girl is a ravenous fan of Maggie Stiefvater, and so, I am going to try and understand that by starting her very popular series, The Raven Cycle series! I’ve heard so many good things about it, I’m sure it will impress me. Because I mean, LOOK AT THOSE COVERS.
2. The Falling Kingdoms series
Jesse @ Books at Dawn is the source of me desperately wanting to start this series in 2016. In fact, immediately. He goes on about this series like there is no tomorrow, and I don’t blame him. This fantasy series not only has BEAUTIFUL covers *drools*, but also has the best sounding story ever. This series sounds right up my alley and I can’t wait to start this next year!
3. The Winner’s Trilogy
I currently have the first two books in this trilogy and it is about time that I pick them up. There is no more need for me to put them off any longer. I VOW TO START THIS SERIES IN 2016. I want to dive in and experience all the action and political intrigue this series has to offer! (and look at the gorgeousness of those covers!)
4. The Lunar Chronicles
Winter came out this year, and I am sad, but also slightly relieved that I was not anywhere near ready to jump on the hype train with the horde of bookworms who are obsessed with this series. First reason I want to read this series? Everyone is talking about it. Second reason? The series is complete. Third reason? They’re a series of FAIRYTALE RETELLINGS that all come together! Epic, right?! I’m so excited.
5. The Grisha Trilogy
I currently have the first book, Shadow and Bone in my possession. I really want to read this series because I feel like I am missing out. All of my fellow bloggers (aka, you guys) have read it, and I want to fangirl with you! Also, I want to read this series before jumping on to Six of Crows!
Tell me your fabulous thoughts, bookworms!
