Spotlight Saturday is a weekly feature, created by Josie at Josieโs Book Corner [aka, moi], dedicated to spotlighting and pinpointing some of the things over the week that have caught my attention more than usual, things Iโve particularly loved, etc.
Hello bookworms and welcome back! It’s Saturday, and it’s been too long since I last did a Spotlight Saturday post! (Well, two weeks, but you know). I’ve been so busy with life, waking up, going out and coming home too late to do anything but sleep. Bum I’m trying to get back into the groove. I know you bookworms (and non-bookworms) enjoy reading this post, so without further delay, let’s begin!
This week, I would like to spotlight a certain male blogger who has just announced some incredible news this week. A blogger and soon-to-be-famous author, who goes by the name ofย Brett Michael Orr! I thought it was more than appropriate to feature him, to further spread the news that his debut novel –ย The Bureau of Time – has just been released and is ready for purchase on Amazon!ย
As soon as I heard, I ran over to Amazon (figuratively of course, because.. you know… Amazon is an online store) ย and bought his book. I’ve started reading it and I’m only 3% the way through and I’m already loving it!ย
But debut novels aside, Brett is a lovely blogger and person in general. His blog is full of interesting and engaging posts with everything from book reviews, to author interviews, to great discussion posts!ย Click here to go to his blog.ย
This week I am spotlighting a post fromย Catia @ The Girl Who Read Too Much. She is participating inย blogmas this year and she recently publishedย day 19 which consisted of herย Favourite Children’s Books. I absolutely loved this post because not only did she mentionย The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien, she also mentioned children’s book series that I desperately want to read, because I feel horrible for not having read them yet (cough, cough, Harry Potter)
It’sย December 19 and I haven’t even started reading a book yet, since the end of November! What is going on?! The Christmas season is taking a toll on me, bookworms. SEND HELP.ย
But I lie. Today I actually (barely) started readingย Brett’s debut novel: The Bureau of Time and it is an intense intro, I LOVE it. Brett, if you are reading this, I am already hooked on your novel!ย
I WENT TO SEE STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS on Thursday! That is the ultimate highlight this week. Besides being a totalย Lord of the Rings fanatic, I am a huge fan ofย Star Wars. I honestly love it so much. I was so excited for this new Star Wars movie and it did not disappoint one bit. The only complaint I have is that open ending: LIKE SERIOUSLY, HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO SIT PATIENTLY FOR THE NEXT ONE?!ย IMPOSSIBLE. *hyperventilates*
Unfortunately, I have not been exploring the world of apps recently.ย
I have honestly been listening to Justin Bieber’s new album:ย Purpose non-stop this week. I never thought I would say that, ever.ย

Aaaaaand that is it for this week’s Spotlight Saturday! I hope you enjoyed it!ย
What are your spotlights this week?

Thank you for the shout out. I’m happy that you liked the post ๐ .
I should really watch all the Star Wars movies. It’s weird that everyone is excited about it and I’m here without even care about it.

Yes you definitely should watch them! They’re the best, I was so obsessed about it a year or two ago and when I heard about this new one, all my fangirling came out once again.
