Teaser Tuesday | Weekly Meme

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Hello bookworms! I am skipping out on this week’s Top Ten Tuesday to instead do a Teaser Tuesday post! Also, I am skipping TTT this week because I shall be doing Top Five Wednesday this week.

So, are you all curious to see what I’m currently reading? If you follow me on Twitter, you would already know what book I am currently reading. Anywho, let’s get on with this shall we?

The One by Kiera Cass

Teaser #1

“Have you ever been out in Angeles before?”
“Only in a car,” he confessed.
“Is it strange that I feel better going into a den of rebels than I did when I had to entertain the women of the Italian royal family?”
Maxon laughed. “Only you.”

Teaser #2

Maxon used his nose, nudging at my cheek, bringing our lips closer together. The same way I could smell coffee and hear every tiny squeak in the dark, the lack of light made me focus on the clean scent that hung around Maxon, feel the pressure of his fingers moving up my neck to the wisps of hair peeking out from under my cap.

Maxon is so insanely swoon-worthy! The things I would do to be in America’s position in this scene… I am 50% through The One, the last book in the Selection trilogy and I am enjoying it! Save for America’s frustrating thoughts and actions of course.

I hope you all enjoyed this short and sweet post and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post, tomorrow!

    • She seriously is frustrating, especially in the sequel. But get past that, and you’ll be in for an enjoyable ride! 😀
I’m glad you can see the swoony-ness, I really need to point out how swoony Maxon is!

    • Yep, I definitely think this is the best book of the series (America doesn’t do as much frustrating stuff) and this scene was truly a favourite! But then there’s the scene when Maxon says “I can think of other ways to tell you how I feel” 😍 I dropped the book due to dying of swooning!

    • I’m happy to be here! ☺️ I think this one is going to end up being my favourite out of all of them too!
How could I resist adding a swoon worthy moment?! 😍
Thank you so much for stopping by! ❤️

Tell me your fabulous thoughts, bookworms!
