Hello bookworms! It’s Monday again. It feels like it’s been only a few days since it was last Monday, not an entire week! (That just proves how busy this week has been.) I am here on this fabulous Monday afternoon to present to you a fun little tag that Erika @ Erika in Bookventureland tagged me to do.

Alright, now that I’m fairly familiar with the rules, let’s do this awesome tag, shall we?
My Interpretation:
Okay, so there’s something you should know about me; Yes this book is well-known, and you’re probably thinking: Josie, you’ve probably heard about this book so much lately that you know what it’s about off by heart! But here’s the thing: no matter how many reviews, or how many times people talk about this book, I always forget what it’s about! So let’s see…
I get the feeling this is a story about a crew of ordinary people, in a world full of extraordinary, or special people. I suppose it is probably going to be a story about how even those who are simply ordinary people, with no crazy calling upon their lives, can be special in their own way.
The actual blurb:
What if you aren’t the Chosen One? The one who’s supposed to fight the zombies, or the soul-eating ghosts, or whatever the heck this new thing is, with the blue lights and the death?

I must say, I think I was rather on point with that interpretation. But I mean, look at that cover, and that title: it’s quite obvious, but I think that’s the point.
My Interpretation:
Okay, I’ve seen this book floating around the blogosphere lately, but to be honest, I have no idea what it is about! I suppose it’s about a boy, who travels around the world on his bike. The boy is travelling around the world on his bike, because he is running away from someone, because he possibly did something wrong and now these people, the “wolf” is after him.

Damn, well I was no where near to the proper blurb! The main character isn’t even a male, it’s a female! (hides in shame). However, I did almost get the “riding around the world” thing right. Now that I’ve read this blurb, I am so interested in this book! It’s no secret that I have a weird obsession with the World War Two time period. The idea of a book showing Hitler winning the war is so interesting! (fangirls).
My Interpretation:
I remember seeing this all over the blogosphere a couple of months ago, and of course, now I’ve forgotten all about it (no surprise there). There’s a contrast in the cover between the title and the image in the cover – the word “deep” and the frame of the ocean could suggest maybe this is a story about a girl out in the ocean. She’s wearing a fancy dress, so maybe she is on a fancy boat – like the Titanic? – and the red in the picture could probably suggest that something goes wrong on this ship, and has something to do with this girl. (What a weak interpretation, but let’s roll with it)

Okay wow, the story was more intense than I thought. I got one thing right though: that the girl is on a boat and something bad goes wrong. However, I didn’t pick up the revenge plot of this story line, but gosh this definitely sounds like a compelling read!
My Interpretation:
The first thing that comes to mind: A red riding hood retelling. I mean, it’s reasonable, with the girl dressed in red, following a path. Also there must be a slight twist to this story, with the words “protect him, defend him but never love him”. Maybe one day as this girl is travelling into the forest, she comes across someone who she somehow gets tied to and must serve him, but he’s evil, so she must never fall in love with him. However, there is a possibility that this could be a Beauty and the Beast retelling, but I’ll stick with Red Riding Hood.

YES I GOT IT RIGHT. It’s a Red Riding Hood inspired novel! And I got the story line relatively right! Dang, I’m pretty impressed with myself (good job, me!).
