The Celebrity Book Tag
Hello bookworms and welcome back! Today is Monday and I’m making an appearance on my blog! (Because I seriously have nothing to do in class right now, yes I’m writing this review while I’m at school!). Today I thought I’d grace you all with a tag that Chelsea over at Books For Thought tagged me to do!
Basically I answer a few celebrity based questions and answer with my own bookish opinions!
Lets do this!
1. Emma Watson — A book with a hot kick-butt female character
I love a good hot, kick-butt female protagonist or character. And there are so many to choose from! Oh how will I ever decide who to pick?
I’ll go with a recent one, Shahrzad from The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh. She’s absolutely stunning and gorgeous but at the same time she is feisty and determined, independent and has a terribly smart and sharp mouth. I adored her the moment I met her in The Wrath and the Dawn.
2. Ryan Gosling— A book with the hottest male character
Basically all Sarah J Maas’s books. Seriously, I don’t know how Sarah does it, but I swoon over every. single. male. in her books! How will I ever pick? I suppose since I will be mentioning Throne of Glass in another question, let’s go with A Court of Thorns and Roses: Rhysand. Rhysand is the drop dead gorgeous Fae of the Night kingdom/realm/whatever I forgot. He’s hot and I swoon over him like crazy, despite his bad-boy character.
3. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt — A book with your favorite fictional book couple
One of the best parts of a novel is the OTP. I have a few favourite couples, and right now I am so tempted to refer to a book I’ve already mentioned! Ah! Penryn and Raffe from the Penryn and the End of Days series by Susan Ee is one fictional couple that makes me swoon and fangirl! But let’s be honest, my favourite couple of all time is ROWAELIN. Like come on, did you expect anything else? They are the ultimate OTP.
4. Shailene Woodley — Author you’ve recently discovered and loved
Patrick Ness! Nicola Yoon! Renee Ahdieh! Rainbow Rowell! SARAH J MAAS. These people are some of the many new authors I have fallen for this year.
5. Josh Hutcherson- Favorite short story or novella
This has got to go to The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J Maas. The Desert was one of my favourites, but the last one was perfection (I can’t remember the name, gosh dang it).
6. Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock — Favorite Big Book (over 500 pages)
This has got to go to Inheritance by Christopher Paolini. Sitting at 850 pages and is the last book in the Inheritance Cycle series (the first book is called Eragon), this book left me with the biggest book hangover that I can only compare to the epic hangover Queen of Shadows gave me.
7. Leonardio DiCaprio — A series with the most upsetting death (NO SPOILERS)
Oooooh… I can’t think of one! The only one I can think of is Allegiant by Veronica Roth. The death of this certain character just broke me!
8. Kristen Stewart — A book you found boring
I found the first 50% of Shattered Blue by Lauren Horowitz to be extremely boring! Thank goodness the pace picked up later on in the novel.
9. Ian Somerhalder and his cat — Cutest book your shelf
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I mean, have you SEEN the cuteness of this book?! It’s TO DIE FOR.
10. Jennifer Lawrence — Perfect book or series
The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas. It’s perfect. However, if I were to mention another of my older all time favourites, it’s obviously The Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R. Tolkien and the Inheritance Cycle series by Christopher Paolini.
Tell me your fabulous thoughts, bookworms!
