Cristina’s Questions
Where would you rather spend a vacation? Beach? Mountain? City? Why?
My ideal place for vacation… Oh that’s a hard choice to make. I definitely would not pick a mountain. As much as I love the outdoors, I’m not very fond of it. I’d prefer the city, because I feel like I’m such a lover for the landscape and honestly I love hotels. I have a weird thing with hotels.
If you got stranded in a desert island, which 3 items would you like to have with you?
Oh dear Lord. I would have to choose my Kindle – because I’ll have a great amount of books to read in my spare time while stranded. The second item would have to be a more realistic item – my bed. No way am I going to rough it out sleeping on sand or somewhere where bugs can crawl all over me. Plus, my bed is extremely warm. Thirdly, I have no idea.
Who’s your biggest celebrity crush? Why?
This is hard. This is really hard, because I have a few that I don’t really want to choose between. But I shall give you a female and a male for this. For my male celebrity crush, it would have to be Orlando Bloom. Mainly because of his role in Pirates of the Caribbean and in Lord of the Rings. He is really handsome too. For my female crush. . . Lily Collins. I really love her. She’s gorgeous and just such a lovely lady!
Coke or Pepsi? Or “what are you talking about, there’s no difference”?
Coke, all the way. Pepsi has a strange taste to it that is kind of metallic to me, or a taste of less flavour. But to be honest, I prefer mango juice over both of these. Mango juice is heaven.
Favorite time of the year? Why?
JUNE! Becuase not only is it my birthday month, but it’s when it is winter here in Australia and it’s cold and rainy which is my favourite kind of weather.
Name a music that reminds you of your childhood?
Like, a song? Ah, well I didn’t really listen to music as a child. Pretty sad, huh? I don’t know what I did as a child. OH OH, WAIT! Rock Around The Clock definitely reminds me of my childhood. It’s a song I used to love to dance to for some reason when I was young.
You can only pick ONE book to read (forever), what would it be?
Oh no no no, why?! This is the most torturous question in the world. But if I had to, it would have to be the Inheritance Cycle series. OH NO WAIT! Or… The Throne of Glass series, for freaking sure.
Raven’s Questions
1. Tell me about someone you really admire?
Someone I admire? There are so many… I don’t want to pick just one specific person and miss out on the many other people that I admire so much. I really admire my best friends – I have three of them – because honestly they are the loveliest, most dedicated, wonderful people I know and they are constantly making me evaluate the things I do, say and think almost every day of my life. But honestly, there are too many people to fit into this answer.
2. What did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was little – what I can remember of it, because I have this weird memory loss of my years as a child – I remember really wanting to be a writer and especially a singer. So writing has been a passion of mine ever since I was a young child. Along with a passion for singing and music that, now, I would be happy to have a career in too.
3. If you could have any job, what would you want to do/be?
There are several jobs I would love to have. I’d love to be a writer, or an editor – and frankly, the idea of being a ghost-writer sound so freaking cool. But another job I’d love to have is one in the health department – I would love to be a psychologist. I have a big fascination for mental health.
4. What type of music you like most and name any three of your favourite new tracks?
I hate this question. But it’s nothing personal, it’s just that I honestly despise picking certain genres or areas especially when it comes to music. I love a range of music. I listen to pop, jazz, rock, electronic, dubstep, dance/techno, and Christian music. Some of my favourite bands include: Imagine Dragons, Paramore, Hillsong (Christian band). And I love too many artists to list.
5. Book that made you cry and a book that made you laugh out loud?
A Monster Calls by Partick Ness made me sob and cry, and of course, The Fault In Our Stars made me ball my eyes out in despair for 3 days (not non-stop of course). I book that made me laugh out loud? Holy crap, I can’t think of one… This is weird. I’ll have to get back to ya.
6. What did you do for your last birthday?
My birthday was just over a month ago, and I didn’t do anything. I went to school, got some presents from my lovely best friends, went out for lunch after school with them, including dessert with my favourite mango smoothie and that was it!
7. What Inspires You?
So many things inspire me. Listening to music inspires me. Spending time alone while exploring the world around me such as going out to the city alone and watching people (it’s not as creepy as it sounds) inspires me. Reading books inspires me. Observing the places all of you bloggers are going, reading your thoughts and opinions inspires me. Going on Tumblr inspires me incredibly! Tumblr is DEEP guys.
Tell me your fabulous thoughts, bookworms!
