3 Days, 3 Quotes Tag | Day 3
Hello bookworms and welcome back to Josie’s Book Corner, aka, MY Book Corner! Today, on this lovely Monday afternoon (which is when I am writing this by the by), I am bringing to you the last day of the 3 Days, 3 Quotes tag!
And I thought, what better way to shake this tag up a little bit then go off the rules and present to you 3 quotes! Okay, honestly the only reason I’m giving you 3 is because I want you to see all of these quotes AND because I couldn’t decide which one I liked the most… So let’s go!
These quotes are coming from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell!
I honestly really love this quote. Being a writer, this really speaks true to me. Creating something out of nothing is one of the most fun and amazing things. Tell me you guys can relate or agree to this?!
ANOTHER one that speaks true to me. Slightly crazy? Check. Socially awkward? Double check. And as for a complete disaster underneath? Yeah. I struggle a lot with myself underneath everything that I show on the outside and I tend to keep it all within myself. Sometimes that results in my mental state imploding a little bit.
I fantasise about being trapped in a library ALL THE TIME. I especially fantasise about being trapped in a very beautiful library. I don’t care if it’s dark and scary (okay, maybe I would but that’s not the point), I would love to be in a library for a night. As long as there’s a lovely fireplace where I can snuggle up on a couch and keep warm and read until day breaks.
This was literally the first quote in this book that I noted down when I read Fangirl. I was like, YES. THIS LITERALLY SUMS UP MY LIFE. Like honestly, you can find all kinds of answers to even the weirdest and most out there questions, but when it comes to some crucial parts of surviving in life such as in social situations, WHERE THE HECK IS MY YAHOO ANSWER? WIKI HOW, WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE AN ANSWER?
HONOURABLE MENTION: Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
When Park said this guys… Oh gosh. I’m currently reading this right now and dang, I’m in love with it. The atmosphere, the feel of the book as I read it is just so wonderful and I enjoy every second of it. And THIS QUOTE is just too fabulous not to show you guys.
