The Infinity Dreams Award

Infinity Dreams Award
infinity-dreams-award

Hello bookworms, happy Wednesday! This post may come as a surprise from the usual, but I’m always up for surprises. I was nominated to do this award by Marie @ drizzleandhurricanebooks. Check her blog out because it is wonderful.
I’ll give you the lo-down of this award. Simply share seven of your dreams in life. So, let me introduce, seven of my dreams…

1. Travel to all the most amazing, beautiful places in the world

I want to see it all. I want to experience everything this world has to offer, and travelling the world is the best way to do it! I want to go to all places in Europe, search for the most beautiful places on Earth and visit them, and simply just go exploring in foreign places.

2. Get a novel written and published

You all know that I am a huge lover of writing. I love it. It’s why I have this blog. To have a novel written solely by myself, and then published as an actual, real and living (okay, maybe not living) book would be the biggest, most amazing thing ever.

3. Create my own personal library

Now, this might actually sound incredibly extreme. Everyone wants a book collection – at least, most of you who are bookworms like myself – but I want to take it a step further. With having a vast and amazing book collection, I want a library, owned by me. Like, a room dedicated entirely to books, shelved in a very orderly fashion – whichever orderly fashion I fancy – complete with it’s own library computer system showing the books I’ve recently added to the shelves, books I’ve taken off the shelves, books I’ve reviewed, etc. Crazy, I know.

4. Live in my own apartment

As many of you might know already, I’m a high school student – ugh – so, I live with my parents. Thank goodness it’s my last year of high school! But with that, for a year or two now, I’ve been wishing to have my own apartment. I can just imagine it now… my own space, with all my own stuff, I’ll be rocking the minimalist look and it would be amazing. Don’t get me wrong, I love my family.

5. Find my soul mate

Soul mates is an idea that I don’t particularly believe in, but you get my drift. One of my dreams is to fall in love, and to fall in love with what will hopefully be, my soul mate. So cheesy, I know, I know.

6. Visit Hobbiton

You all know how much of a Harry Potter fan I am. I need to visit Hobbiton before I die, no matter what it takes!

6. Live in England

Yeah, sure, Australia is great but honestly England holds a special place in my heart. Maybe it’s the British half of me speaking out when I say this is one of my dreams, but England seriously holds a fascination to me, to live there would be the most amazing thing. Plus, it’s usually quite cold there, and I LOVE cold weather.

7. Have a white Christmas

Being from Australia, there is no way in the history of the Earth that I will experience a White Christmas, so this is a dream of mine. You guys have no idea how much I want this to come true, and I am definitely going to make it come true.

So that is all for this post! I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my dreams. If you want to do this post, please do it, I want to see all of your dreams, bookish or not.

What are some of your dreams?

Do you share any of the similar? Or have you accomplished any of my dreams?

  1. Thank you for doing this award, it’s so great to read about all of your dreams, and we share quite a lot of those! I love to travel, and damn, hobbiton must be such an amazing place to visit! England is such a great country, I’d love to live there, too. A novel, what a dream…how’s the writing going ? 😀
    Amazing post, loved it! ❤

  2. I don’t think wanting a library is crazy at all! I’d like one with shelving from floor to ceiling with one of those ladders than rolls around the shelves. 🙂
Speaking for all of England, we’d love to have you come to stay. Especially if you’re happy with the cold 😉

    • Yes! That would be so amazing. I used to look at pictures of libraries like that and just dream about it.
Aw, yay! Glad to hear it! I visited England once I think three years ago and I was just in love with it. I wasn’t anywhere near the main city though. Xoxo

  3. I could just, like, copy all of this (except for the last one; there’s only all too much snow in Canada during Christmas!) and pass it off as my own and it would be totally accurate!! I’d also love to have my own apartment, and to travel around the world would be amazing!!! There are so many amazing places to see! And having my own library!! *Sighs dreamily* My dream come true! You have great dreams, Josie! XD

  5. I’ve accomplished part of your dream; I’ve got library software. Haha, I was getting so annoyed not being able to just quickly search for a book (some are in boxes, and I’m living at my parents and my boyfriend’s, so the books are everywhere) that I needed something to fix that. It took me a while to decide, but I love it!
Also, I’ve seen quite a bit of Europe… though I live there, so I don’t think that counts 😛 And yes, we’ve had white Christmas’s here as well. Though I’m not quite sure when the last one was.

I’d love to get published! But I have this feeling you have to write something for that first… I’ve only recently started it, but maybe someday.

What I would totally love though: my own quaint book cafe, where you can sit, read a book, buy some as well, and have a nice cup of tea (or coffee) and a piece of cake.

    • Wow, that’s amazing, and I’m partly jealous! I would love to live in Europe (as you already know from this post).
Yes, writing is the first step towards it I’m quite sure. 😁
Oh. My. Goodness. That sounds amazing! I would love that as well! I can already picture it. 😍
