Hello bookworms and welcome back! It’s the last day of June… how fast has this month gone? Like, seriously! Since it’s the end of the month, it’s only fitting that I look back and give you a rewind of my amazing month. Let’s get started shall we?
Hello bookworms! Can you believe it? June has come and gone in the blink of an eye! This year really is speeding up. Anyway, today I have for you my bookish wrap up for the month of June. Hello bookworms and welcome back! It’s been an entire weekend and I haven’t posted any of our discussion topics! I’m so incredibly sorry! But I’m making it up to you by starting off the week with a BANG. Today’s topic? ALL THE SHIPS. Here is where we discuss our favourite ships, our personal ships whether they may be popular or completely from your imagination! Let’s discuss our ships! WOO!
As the first book I’ve read by Colleen Hoover, this book has completely converted me into a CoHo fan. Not only is her writing extremely wonderful, engaging, poetic and artistic, the story was completely heart-wrenching with great characters! Ugly Love is a novel focused around love. It’s a love story. Obviously. But if you’re looking for a swoon-worthy, cute romance that gets you squealing, think again. This new adult novel explores love in it’s most ugly times, the lowest times it could possibly get. But not only this, Ugly Love is a novel that explores loss, guilt and acceptance and the idea of letting go of your past to give away to your future. And it’s done absolutely beautifully.
Hello bookworms! I’m honoured to be doing the Would You Rather Tag, which I was tagged by the lovely Erika @ bookventureland and Bella @ The Amazing Life of a Bookworm! Thank you, both of you! I really have been wanting to do this tag.
