Top Ten Authors I REALLY Want To Meet

Hello bookworms! It is Tuesday, and that means it is time for another installment of Top Ten Tuesday [hosted by The Broke and the Bookish]. This week’s topic is the top authors that I really want to meet! Without further delay, lets get into the list of authors…

1. Sarah J Maas

The author of the Throne of Glass series and A Court of Thorns and Roses, I’m sure this author is going to appear on many people’s lists – in fact I have already seen many people list her! Honestly though, she is a must-meet author for me. After watching Jesse The Reader [YouTube] and his video interviewing Sarah J Maas, I was convinced that I wanted to meet this bubbly, energetic, hilarious woman!

2. J. R. R. Tolkien

I’m a total fangirl for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the Middle Earth books in general. They are incredible and the movies are equally incredible. My childhood was made up of J.R.R. Tolkien’s books and I’m convinced that my love from fantasy came from my love for his books! I would give anything to meet him and discuss in GREAT DEPTH of his creation of Middle Earth and to just discuss everything else related to that!

3. Christopher Paolini

I’m sure you have all seen me rave about the Inheritance Cycle series by this incredible author. I really want to meet the great mind behind this amazing story and the amazing world it’s set in.

4. Rick Riordan

I’ve fallen in love with Rick Riordan’s Heroes of Olympus series and I would love to discuss how he came up with such an amazing story line and how he managed to weave in all the incredible bits and pieces of Greek Mythology that surrounds his stories.

5. Lauren Kate

The author of the Fallen series which I fell in LOVE with. I want to just discuss and chat over this series with her, about every aspect along with her Teardrop duology.

6. P.C. Cast

Author of the House of Night series, I just want to meet her to tell her how much I loved the series and to ask her questions about how she came up with the story and discuss characters with her!

7. John Green

Do I have to explain? Not only does he write incredible books, but from watching his YouTube videos, it would be a very interesting conversation to have with him! I’d love to have a very intelligent and random conversation with him.

8. Veronica Roth

The author of the Divergent trilogy I want to talk to her and swoon over the series and the characters! After seeing her on EpicReads [YouTube] I realised what an awesome lady she was and I just wish I could see that come to life in person.

9. Craig Silvey

Okay, granted I did already meet the awesome author of Jasper Jones, I would love to actually meet him and get to have an in depth discussion with him about his book and his thoughts on being and author and on writing in general. He’s such an awesome guy, it would be an incredible conversation to have!

10. Taran Matharu

I want to include a new author I have discovered. The author of The Novice which I loved, is an author I would love to meet to talk about his inspiration for the book and to just ask him questions about his novel!

That is all for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday! Let me know down in the comments whether you want to meet any of the authors which I mentioned so we can fangirl together about these amazing authors. Link me your Top Ten Tuesdays for this topic because I would love to check them out!

  5. Now that you mention it, a lot of my childhood interest in fantasy was consumed with LOTR as well. Ah, such fond memories! Although, I would definitely not know where to start if I were to meet with Tolkien haha.

    Cheers,

    1. A good place to start off your childhood! Yeah, I think I’d stutter a lot and be a little shell shocked if I ever met him! But once he trying past that I’d be asking question and ranting about Middle Earth!
      Thanks for stopping by xoxo

  7. I’m a Potter gal vs. LOTR, so JK Rowling made my list. Almost put John Green on there, he does seem so personable! But I had Jenny Lawson (the Bloggess) instead. Rick Riordan was on my list as well.

    1. I have never read JK Rowlings books! (shameful, I know) so I didn’t have the opportunity to put her on my list. I have not heard of Jen by Lawson! xoxo

I would probably faint if I ever met Tolkien , then I would go on to ask random questions like why are the hobbits legs so hairy , why is legal as so awesome and what is Frodo doing now? .
