Top 10 Characters I’d Like To Check In With
Hello bookworms! It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for another installment of Top Ten Tuesday. As always, I must give credit to the lovely blog: The Broke and the Bookish, who created and host this weekly meme.
This week, the topic is the top ten characters that I would like to check in with – meaning, characters I’d like to see what’s going on in their life after the book/series has ended. I’m excited for this topic because there are quite a few that I can think of! So let’s get onto it, shall we?
1. Leo Valdez (The Heroes of Olympus Series)
I think you guys all know well enough how much I love Leo. I would read this series over and over again just for Leo. But anyway, Leo is a character I would REALLY love to check in with to see what he’s been up to and how he and Calypso are, because the last book left it hanging and it broke me a little! I wanted to see what they did together, where they went, and if he reunited with his friends!
2. Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle Series)
Eragon! Ah, I would really love to see what he is up to. The last book ended with him going away and it left it there. I want to know what he is doing, if he comes back, how he’s going and also to see what’s going on in his world later on after the series.
3. Zoey and her crew (House Of Night Series)
Yes, yes, I know this series extended for 12 books, but honestly, I would love to check in with what they have been doing after the series ends. It ends on such a high, happy note, but it also leaves you with the possibility of even further development. I can easily imagine and would beg, for more House Of Night stories, even if they are short and sweet. I want to know and check in with all the characters, especially Zoey and Stark!
4. Ander (Waterfall)
After the end of this book, it left Ander hanging by a string. I want to check in with him and see what he’s been up to after Eureka and everything. I was heart broken for him and would like to know what he has been up to.
5. Isla and Josh (Isla and the Happily Ever After)
I’d love to see how these two have been going after the end of this book. They are just so sweet and adorable and it would just be nice to see where they have been going with their lives.
6. Biblo Baggins (Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit)
I loved Bilbo. And Frodo too. I’d love to see what they’ve been up to. I honestly would just love to see more of Middle Earth. I just LOVE Middle Earth so much, it’s the one world I would totally live in, even with the dark lord threatening to take over!
