February Book Haul 2015

So I went into the secondhand store today… and came out with 8 new books! I absolutely LOVE going to secondhand stores to look for books. I can’t imagine why anyone would give out some books, because to me they’re so precious, but when I think about it, it’s actually a really good thing to give away books, for people like me, who sometimes cannot afford to spend so much money on a bunch of books at the bookstore frequently.

Anyways, I was feeling like taking a stroll through the book section of the secondhand store today before going home from work. Usually when I go to my local secondhand store I would find one or two books that catch my eye or that I’ve been needing, but never did I expect to grab as many as 8 books! And I’m so excited to share them with you, so without further babbling, here is my book haul for February!

The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter

I’ve heard quite a bit about this book, so I’m excited to get onto this book as soon as possible.

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie Meyer

I saw this book, and since I have the entire Twilight Series, I decided I should get this book to complete my collection and also it will be a nice short read for me if I get in a reading slump.

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

I own the second book in this series, so it’s obvious that I needed to pick this one up before starting the series, as it is the first book in the series!

The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson

As you would know, if you read my TBR List for February, I am going to be reading the first book in this series, called the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, so it’s only fitting that I have the second book so that I can jump right into it if I end up loving it!

The Door Within by Wayne Thomas Batson

I saw this beautiful hard cover book and was instantly drawn to it. It looks as if it’s going to be a young adult fantasy novel, and the fact that the cover is just so beautiful makes me really happy and excited to read it. It’s also the first book in a trilogy.

Magisterium: The Iron Trial by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare

Written by one of my favourite authors (Cassandra Clare) and an author that is famous for her work – which I am going to read in the near future – the Iron Trial is a book I am EXTREMELY excited to read! I might have to sneak it in to my February TBR……

Eldest by Christopher Paolini

Okay guys… I need to make it clear that the Inheritance Cycle, which is the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini is MY FAVOURITE SERIES OF ALL TIME. I am going to be re-reading it this year and currently I have the first book, Eragon and the third book, Brisingr in my collection. Now I have the second book, Eldest! I snatched the hardcover verion of it and I nearly burst into tears in the store. If you haven’t read this series, you should read it, or read along with me when I get around to reading it! IT’S SO GOOD.

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

Another Cassandra Clare book, which I’ve been dying to get my hands on. It’s the last book in the Infernal Devices trilogy, so I can’t read it yet, but just having it in my collection is going to motivate me to buy the first two books and get cracking on reading it! I’m so excited to read it, since The Mortal Instruments is one of my favourite series OF ALL TIME.

So that’s all the books I have for you today, I hope you enjoyed seeing all the books I scored in the secondhand store today. Comment down below your most awesome secondhand store bargain that you would have never expected! I’d love to know!
