Hey guys and welcome back! I know, I’ve been absent for quite a while now and you’ve probably been wondering where I’ve been – or if you haven’t, that’s cool – but I’ve been very busy for the past week. I was away for 3 days in Busselton with no forms of communication to the outside world. Then, the next day when I got back, school started and I’ve been already up to my neck getting organised for Year 12! But now, I have the time to give you my 2015 February To-Be-Read list! So here we go!
The Selection by Kiera Cass
This is the first book that I’m reading this month and that I have been meaning to read for quite a while now. I’m about halfway in at the moment and I’m enjoying it so far!
Conqueror’s Moon by Julian May
I recently got this book at an op shop, and this month, I want to read it. It’s a high fantasy novel as far as I know. It’s quite long, maybe 500 pages or more, but I’m hoping I can read it this month!
Between the Ceiling and the Sky by Eugenia Tsoulis
This book was also bought with Conqueror’s Moon at the op shop, and it sounds quite interesting – it says the story deals with and carries the reader through the joys of heartaches of families, lovers and of women and madness, which was intriguing to me.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
I kept seeing this book everywhere so I finally got it but it’s been sitting un-read on my shelf for ages, so I finally decided it’s time to read it before I go out and buy new books. It’s a mystery novel, so I’m kind of nervous because it’s not my style, but we’ll see how it goes.
The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger
Just a light novel to read if I start to get in a reading slump throughout the month. I guess I’m also kind of late on reading this book, so I thought, why not? I liked the movie, so I need to read the book too!
And lastly, The Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel
This was a recommendation from my dad, actually! He kept telling me to read this, and even went out and bought the whole series on eBay. It’s a very old book, but it seems interesting so I thought I’d venture out and give it a chance!
That is all my books that I am planning to read for this month! I will come back to you with posts on my progress and thoughts on these books throughout the month, so look forward to those and also, if you have read any of these books, please comment down below telling me your thoughts! I always love hearing your thoughts!
